It’s difficult not to get captured by Julius’ unique fractal style bringing together his talents for filmmaking, computer graphics and virtual reality annimation. Growing an early passion for video, Julio Horsthius started evolving his unique individuality as a virtual artist in the psychedelic genre and VR space.

We were greatly impressed by the immersive psychedelic environment in Julius’s fractal art projects and VR short movie projects, which we wanted to hear more about in an open interview.

We have collated a list with some of the most spectacular psytrance shows of music & visuals, and the prospects of holding the events in this year. This review is offered as a helping hand when you’re on the lookout for available events and ones worth looking forward to.

We are humbled to be featuring one of the most touching psychedelic visionaries, sharing of her transcendental and experiential artistic influences, manifested in the process of deeply elevated devotional painting, she opens up about.

Katia Honor’s expression on canvas is an intricate reproduction of her spiritually rich awareness for the internal, intertwined with a gasp of visual calm, following from the deep trance state.  Describing herself as etheogen-oriented artist, she is creating beauty in composition, which speaks of gentle personal tranquility, unmasked from the external, but composed purely by her own spiritual nourishing.

The real journey to becoming an artist goes through the stages of their own personal development. Ignacio had a very early surge of creative talents, growing and evolving parallel to his professional scientific career as a biologist. Driven by his understanding for the absolute unity of all things, he eventually found a complete expression of himself in his abstract paintings, multi-layered with concepts, figures and dazzling surrealistic details.

We barely have the time to work on our hobbies after we come back home from work. Not Linden Gledhill though. This pharmaceutical biochemist returns home from work only to proceed to his lab. And his lab is akin to Batman’s cave- with custom made gear where he simply records the intermixing of beautiful displays of various scientific events transpiring. And now his latest visuals display the beauty that is sound in water.

This story is not so much about “me” but about the strange life circumstances that made “me” into an artist. You might already know some of the secrets of how to become an artist but maybe you find a morsel of inspiration in my story.

What patterns do you see in your own life, or in the world that have symmetry and balance? Which ones are asymmetrical and out of balance? Noticing patterns helps us build on them if they are healthy, or break them if they are not healthy. The flux between asymmetry and symmetry is the process of growth and evolution. Sacred geometry gives us a beautiful reflection to contemplate as we navigate life’s challenges seeking balance and harmony.
