The case for a zipper
Anything that lives loose in a backpack eventually opens. A zipper wallet does not spill. It is the shape to take if you carry coins, or if your wallet spends the day inside a sling bag rather than on your person.
Canvas and stitching
Cotton canvas with the pattern printed into the fabric, reinforced at the seams and around the zip tape, where wallets tear first. Handmade in small runs, not pressed out by the thousand.
More room than a slim fold
Cards, folded notes, coins, keys if you insist. It sits a little thicker than a slim wallet, which is the honest trade for a compartment that actually seals.
